About me

It may interest you to know that I am from Africa and that I got my Masters Degree at the University of Cape Town.  I was a nurse in my first work life and have been a counsellor in private practice since 1992.  I have a very broad range of training and like to use the tools that best fit a client’s needs.

My Philosophy

My philosophy is that humans are resilient, resourceful and adaptive but sometimes need perspective and support.

What to Expect

Typically sessions are one hour long.  I offer a sliding scale of fees, negotiated in the first session.  Payment is expected at the time of service by cash or cheque.  The office is in the blue house on the corner of St. John’s St. and Elgin Road.  Parking is on the street and the entrance is via the front door of the house.
